the journey to an amplified life
our story01. Pit of Despair
I felt trapped by my circumstances, too afraid to let go of what was secure and safe even though the joy in it was gone.
For seven years, I built a successful network marketing business, opened up a new market in another country, and grew a flourishing, dynamic team. I saw women recover their youthful energy and zeal, saw families now with additional income able to put food on the table and provide for others. I grew from a withdrawn, overwhelmed mom of 6 to a courageous and fulfilled mom of 6.
Our family went from constantly borrowing from the month ahead to pay our bills to having enough to start saving for the future. We were able to go on mission trips, care for orphans, help the needy with food, housing, and jobs. We learned how to incorporate business into missions, and found a whole new way to transform families, communities, and nations with the business as mission model. Our dream of helping to share the gospel with unreached people groups in the 10/40 window was producing much fruit.
After an international move back to the States, I noticed my joy, satisfaction, and zeal for my business start to wane. I took courses, hired coaches, tried new programs.. but nothing helped. I fell more and more out of alignment with my business and as I explored other possibilities, began to feel more and more stuck.
My nervous system was constantly on high alert. The 24/7 sales cycle left me continually distracted, unable to give full attention to any single thing.
My family began to suffer. My own stress level reached its highest peak when I started experiencing heart palpitations and panic attacks. I ended up in the hospital, and began to learn how to heal my nervous system.
Our youngest, a neurodivergent special needs child, required a focused level of attention she wasn’t getting from me. Her behavior escalated, I was on the brink of a breakdown, and knew something had to change.
02. How did God answer me
I cried out to the Lord for courage to leave behind the old. I was so afraid of leaving the lifeline of a steady paycheck that it created significant internal conflict. I felt like to leave my business was to betray my family, friendships, and sell my birthright like Esau did.
Yet as I came to God over and over again, he showed me that he is my source of provision.. not money. The worship of the spirit of mammon says a paycheck is provision. I knew I was not in alignment with my values, vision, and direction and asked God to show me the way out
He led me to a godly couple who were building their brand and business based on helping people find their voice and use it to impact the Kingdom. They showed me a new model of servant leadership, and how to grow in confidence and authority. At great personal loss, we resigned our position at our network marketing company. After testing the waters for a period of time, I came to the conclusion that God had indeed called me out of network marketing.
I went through a desperate wilderness experience, where relationships, provision, community, and ministry were stripped away from me.
I went into this wilderness to grieve the end of a season, isolate, and determine who and what is on the throne of my heart.
Unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if dies, it produces many seeds.
Some things needed to die in my life.
Now, God is showing me the way forward.
03. The vision
He is bringing clarity to our vision.
We have carried for years, but feel an increased burden to hasten the work.
Our big ambition is to pave the way for the gospel to be preached in the least reached, most difficult to access villages in the Himalayan mountains of Nepal.
My husband and I are driven by this vision to preach, witness, teach, disciple, and ignite simple church planting movements in the country of Nepal as well as in our current country of residence.
We do this through planting simple churches and starting businesses to support the work of the ministry.
To equip men and women to step into their God-given authority and anointing to disciple, heal, set-free, and advance the kingdom of God.. starting with their own families.
To restore purity, break off oppression, and speak truth and identity over this generation.
It’s time for things to change for you
How we do this
– Provide on-location training in church planting and business consultation each year
– Coach and disciple leaders in Nepal
– Preach, teach, and train leaders on the importance of sexual purity in their lives, ministries, and families
– Support church planting and disciple making movements in our own region
– Mobilize and Activate Faith in other apostolic, prophetic, and pastoral believers to step out into their God-given calling
– Inspire and equip christian moms to live out their faith by raising their children, building an unshakable marriage, and cultivating an entrepreneurial spirit.
