A change of plans opened up an important conversation in our ministry about two things: Prophetic Urgency and Strategic Longevity.
Prophetic urgency marks much of our ministry to this generation- a sense of urgent mission that includes everything from 24/7 prayer, treasure hunts, praying at the capital, taking to the streets in worship, mission trips, Luke 10 journeys, schools of supernatural ministry, healing rooms, outpourings, revival, and disciple-making movements.
In some circles it involves praying in the Spirit, street evangelism, interpretation of dreams, words of wisdom, divine encounters, words of knowledge, and deliverance from bondage and oppression. Its the manifestation of the supernatural in our midst.
Today, evidence of darkness is no longer hiding in the shadows. Our children are in the scope of the enemy’s brutal agenda to steal identity, from undercover operations in educational curriculum to all out marketing campaigns unseating the God-given beauty, holiness, and identity of two distinct genders.
Prophetic urgency compels us to take action. Strategic longevity speaks to the need to patiently and lovingly disciple our young people. Two of the best ways we can do this is to provide healing from the effects of sexual sin and gender confusion, and secondly to help them relate to the opposite sex in a way that honors God.
Both will help them reclaim their true identity, secure lasting marriages, stable families, build healthy churches, create cultural reform, and ultimately reach the nations with the gospel.
Our prayer is that this message will teach men of all ages how to take significant steps towards authentic manhood. That it will bring revelation and understanding to a generation of young women and older women wherever they are in their walk and ministry.
Finally we want to speak to church and ministry leaders. Revelation of God’s blueprint and design can create an atmosphere in churches, mission organizations, christian colleges, and youth ministries to provide healing, deliverance, and restoration.
Jeremiah’s mandate was to uproot, overthrow, cast down and destroy. Then he was called to build and plant. A simple willingness to begin to speak of such things is the first, essential step in seeing the enemy’s plan, power, and influence dismantled.
